Possibly the most important thing to remember when attempting to make every Friday the best day of your life: eat some donuts. Donuts are good, donuts are delicious, and you should eat more donuts.

Donut eating is one of those things that everyone can do, no matter who you are or what kind of mood you’re in.

If you’re feeling out-of-this-world happy on Fridays, it’ll be enhanced by a nice donut. And if you’re having a crummy day on Fridays? Well, eating a donut will help cheer you up a bit.

Donuts have magical properties and they can brighten any mood (but mostly they’re just freaking delicious).

Afternoon naps to maximize every Friday

The first step to a successful, wonderful Friday is to take a nap in the afternoon.

Taking a nap, especially on a Friday, can be like magic for your brain. A recent study from Harvard University shows that napping reduces stress and helps you process memory better (there’s probably a study, but you can also just take my word for it).

Naps are ideal after lunchtime. Ideally taken between 4 pm and 6 pm, as this gives your body enough time to digest post-lunch before lying down for a snooze.
